You will need:

--LG Download Pro 1.3.6.3*
--LG vx9100 .DLL, available at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
--LG vx9700 Drivers*
--QPST 2.7 (any build)*
--Hex Workshop: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

*If you can't find these on your own, then STOP RIGHT NOW. Seriously. Find a different hobby.

Step 0: If you already have LG Download installed and it doesn't detect your phone, STOP. Uninstall LG Download and remove all the folders and DLL's from your computer. Reboot. Continue to Step 1.

Step 1: Install LG Download, the vx9100 .DLL, and the Dare drivers (if applicable). Plug the phone in and let Windows detect it. If it doesn't detect, STOP. You have the wrong drivers. Try again. If it connects, start LG Download. You will MANUALLY have to choose the port and vx9100 .DLL. IT PROBABLY WON'T CONNECT THE FIRST TIME!!! This is PERFECTLY NORMAL. Just close LG Download, then re-start it. You may have to manually select the vx9100 .DLL again, but it will more than likely connect this time. If you are still having issues, then go into the Windows Device Manager and make sure you are using the proper COM ports in LG Download. If everything is set correctly, it WILL connect.

Step 2: Once it connects, LG Download will not be able to verify the model number. THIS IS NORMAL. Just use the same settings as my LG vx9900 tutorial (check the sig), but be sure NOT to provision the the WAP tab. Click WRITE once you are sure all of your settings are in place.

Step 3: You will need to suspend the phone. To do this, connect the phone through LG Download again and start the NV Edit tool. SHRINK LG Download, but DO NOT CLOSE IT!!! Then launch QPST's configuration tool and add the phone's COM port, if necessary. Highlight the phone and then start QPST's EFS Explorer from "Start Clients" in the file menu. This is where you need to follow stevekice's vx10000 tutorial--however, instead of using BitPim and XV132, you are going to use QPST's EFS Explorer and Hex Workshop instead:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Right-click on the fileDB file and save it someplace you can remember. Make a backup copy just in case. Once you've hex edited the file, simply drag and drop it into the folder view in EFS Explorer. Confirm overwrite. Click the red arrow icon in the upper right-hand corner to reboot the phone.

Complete the steps in stevekice's tutorial by manually configuring WAP and you're done.

I decided to post this tutorial to make it easier for those searching for a solution, since there are now a few threads out there on this topic.
